Polyphenylene sulfide has inherent flame resistance, suprior electrical properties, and is non-hygroscopic.  Dute to its heat deflection temperature, PPS GF-40 retains its mechanical properties up to 425° F.  PPS GF-40 is a glass-fiber-reinforced semi-crystalline engineering thermoplastic capable of withstanding virtually all chemical contact up to 400° F.  It is an excellent choice for corrosive, high-temperature applications which require the mechanical properties of a glass-reinforced thermoplastic.
